and it was a similar story in the second period.Passage extended
their lead while, despite their best efforts, the Everton lads couldn’t
find a way past the Passage rearguard.

2-2 Mallow Utd
EVERTON U14s started the season in a positive manner taking a point
from their 2-2 draw with visitors Mallow United.

admirably. We would like to welcome new players Rakib Moussa, Darragh
Higgins, Dylan Kidney, Adam O'Neill, Kieran Bullman, Anthony Walsh
and Eamonn Kelly and Aaron Barry to the squad.
This was a close game and in the end either side could have won
it.
Everton opened the scoring in the second minute when Sean Ward got
on the end of a fine pass from Anthony Walsh. Sean saw the opposing
keeper off his line and lobbed to ball over his head and it settled
in the net.

Everton chasing the game.
The lads showed great spirit and determination and were rewarded
when Rakib Moussa kept his cool in front of goal to score with left
foot.

centre of the park while full-backs Gareth Browne and Darragh Higgins
did very well while centre-backs Gary O'Sullivan and Aaron De Puis
rarely put a foot wrong.
