Everton U16s suffered a blow recently when one of the players, Cillian McCarthy, picked up a nasty injury during training.
Cillian joined the club at the start of this season and has proved to be a great acquisition to the team.
U16 manager Terry Connolly said he will be a big loss as the team goes about its quest for promotion and league honours.
“Cillian is a great signing for us. He’s a good player and good young fella and is a great addition to our squad. We hope he is back in action soon, but we will just have to wait and see how long he will be out for.”
Cillian picked up a leg injury and is currently in plaster and everyone at the club wishes him a speedy recovery.
